Preparations for the Introduction of the IVDK software at Lausanne
- Language adjustments of the software according to the needs in Lausanne and Geneva. Translation of catalogue tables like Occupation, Reaction, etc., and the graphical user interface.
- Familiarization of a student assistant with these adjustments, also as preparation for upcoming support tasks.
- Putting up IT infrastructure for coordinating the staff from Lausanne/CH and Göttingen/D. Deployment of Cloud Computing (Dropbox), FTP, Strato Hidrive, Teamviewer (remote control software), Webcam, Skype. New Webserver (ISP Alfahosting) from 01/02/2011 on
- The websites hosted by the IVDK (IVDK, KAB, DKG, DKG list of members, and ESSCA) have been gradually transferred to Alfahosting’s webhosting system. Project duration: 01/02 – 30/03/2011
Implementation of the multi-centric DKG study protein contact dermatitis
- Development of a program for recording anamnesis, diagnosis, and testing results in combination with WinAlldat/IVDK Software. WinAlldat PKD features a dedicated export function for making central analysis under SAS possible. 12 members of the IVDK participate in this study.
- PKD software being released and distributed to all 12 members from the 01/11/2010 on. Completed.

New Safety Concept for the Server of the IVDK

Replacement of the IVDK’s server system
End of May’s move led to a failure of the internal backup mass storage which caused operation of the server to malfunction. Further investigation produced that the central mass storage of the server also had to be replaced urgently. Thus the server has been set up anew:
- Primary server: ThinkCentre M50 3.0 GHz iPP IV
- Secondary server (standby): Siemens Scaleo 600 3.0 GHz iPP IV
- Work on the server and a new have been completed successfully on 28/07/2009.
